 Scan (a), taken before therapy, shows enlargement of the pituitary fossa and an enhancing mass extending inferiory into the sphenoid sinus, superiorly into the chiasmatic cistem, and abutting on the third ventricle. Scan (b), taken after two weeks of therapy, shows a marked reduction in tumour size, with regression of the suprasellar extension.
